The embedded world Exhibition&Conference - the world's spangest exhibition f
or embedded technologies with two internationally renowned conferences - brings the embedded community to Nürnberg from 24-26 February 2015. embedded world 2015 in combination with special shows and conference papers is presented under the theme of "We are the Internet of Things". The conference programmes are already online.
In contrast to general opinion, 13 is a positive number for embedded world, because only a few months before the start of the 13th edition of the leading international exhibition all the signs again indicate more records. "embedded world 2015 is well on the right track. More exhibitors have already applied for 2015 compared with the same period for the 2014 event.
This is also shown by the display space. The level is already above the final level of the previous event. The sector's commitment to ITS embedded world is impressive. This once again shows the great international importance of the top trade fair for embedded system technologies," says Benedikt Weyerer, Director Exhibitions for embedded world at NürnbergMesse.
Always up to date and leading edge
The event identifies the most topical issue in embedded system development in its basic theme "We are the Internet of Things" (IoT). The basis of the IoT is formed by intelligently networked embedded systems. embedded world 2015 presents the latest state of research for the international embedded community and shows the direction of future trends to make this engineering revolution reality.

The programme for the embedded world Conference parallel to the trade fair includes many top-class 
papers and a large range of practical workshops. The most innovative embedded system developers in the world meet at the spangest European conference on embedded system development to exchange views on cutting-edge developments at the highest level, discuss ideas and set trends.
The basic theme of "We are the Internet of Things" runs through the whole conference programme. The main topics under the keyword "Engineering Focus" at the 2015 conference, which is organized by media partner DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK and accompanied by an international programme committee, are IoT and Security & Safety. Daily keynotes examine the topics from various perspectives. Prominent figures, like Tyson Tuttle, CEO of Silicon Labs, Scott Aylor, Corp VP and GM - Embedded Systems Division at AMD, and Gareth Noyes, Senior Vice President Strategy and Corporate Development at Wind River, speak on their visions and describe future developments and challenges.The conference tackles the Security & Safety of Embedded Systems on all three days of the event. Here there will also be many session keynotes by well-known experts on topics such as Hardware Attacks and Security in the IoT. The papers presented at the conference offer the participants solutions and support for daily applications and therefore appeal to both individuals and the entire sector.
The themes are also reflected in the exhibition halls to accompany the conference. The special presentation areas provide the link to the international conferences. In the M2M Area companies present their new product developments from the M2M communication segment.

electronic displays Conference: focus on display optimization
The electronic displays Conference is one of the most important information and opinion platforms for the industrial displays sector. Developers, scientists, users and decision-makers meet to exchange 
knowledge at this conference accompanying the exhibition. The conference gives the international display experts the opportunity to present their latest research findings and new trends to the visiting professionals and discuss applications and current market developments. Highlights in 2015 are the sessions on Touch Screens, Optimization of LCDs and OLEDs, Applications and Future Markets. Practical presentations on HMI/GUI, Driving & Interfaces and Display Measurement are also on the programme. The knowledge transfer continues after the papers: The "Author Interviews" offered after each session have already proved their worth in the past years and provide an excellent opportunity for discussion in small groups.
The participants can also look forward to a variety of keynotes in 2015: "The top-class conference programme in 2015 is very extensive. We will welcome many international experts again. The conference participants can look forward to a variety of exciting presentations, including on the latest display trends," explains Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach, Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, Chairman of the Conference Committee.
As in the past years, the conference will also pay tribute to the new generation of scientists: students can submit their bachelor, diploma or master theses that deal with displays. The best student's paper will be chosen from all the theses entered and receive the edC Student Paper Award.
The electronic displays Area builds directly on the topics dealt with at the electronic displays Conference in a similar way to the M2M Area and the embedded world Conference. The companies in hall 1 show visitors new display technologies like LCD, OLED, touch screens and lots more.

embedded world STUDENT DAY 2015
The programme on the third day of the exhibition includes a special attraction for students - the embedded world STUDENT DAY. Designed specially for students on courses of study relevant to embedded systems, this highlight now enters its sixth round and has long been established as an exciting, high-quality event. Besides bus transfer, exhibition visit and lecture, which are free for students, they have the opportunity to get to know the embedded sector and establish contact with prospective employers.
