Premier European Fair Will Grow Even Further:
640 Exhibitors Will Make E-world energy & water the Most
Important Platform in the Energy Sector
From the energy turnaround right up to efficient solutions for consumers: At E-world energy & water from February 10 to 12, 640 exhibitors (Hall plan, E-world 2015) from 25 nations will give answers to the topical questions in the energy sector. Thus, the premier European fair has consolidated its strong position once more compared with the previous year (in 2014: 620 exhibitors). Innovative products and services for everything to do with generation, efficiency, trading, transport, storage, smart energy and green technologies will be presented.
A large number of greats in the sector will use the premier fair as a platform, including not only RWE, EnBW, E.ON and Vattenfall but also Shell, BP, Wingas, Gazprom, ENI, Alpiq, GDF Suez, VNG and Thüga. Moreover, E-world is becoming ever more significant for companies from industry, too. The companies from this sector which will present themselves will feature, for example, Siemens, GE and ABB (Hall plan, E-world 2015). The companies which the fair will be able to greet as new exhibitors will include Microsoft and Baywa r.e.
Strong Interest in the
Innovative Subject of "smart energy"
One important subject at E-world 2015 will be the efficient utilisation of energy. The exhibition section called "smart energy" will once again occupy a larger area. Over 100 exhibitors will introduce their solutions for intelligently controllable grids (smart grids), intelligent meters (smart metering), networked house technology and energy storage. Experts will pass on their knowledge in two forums.
E-world Congress Will Examine the
Future of the Energy Industry
The trade fair at which well over 20,000 visitors will be expected will be accompanied by the E-world Congress. In around 30 conferences from February 9 to 12, international experts will dedicate themselves to the future of the European energy market. Speakers from the political and economic fields will address (amongst other subjects) the European energy policy, the international electricity and gas markets as well as business models for renewable energies.
International Delegations Will Obtain Information
For international representatives, the fair will offer an opportunity to obtain information and exchange ideas about all aspects of energy subjects.
On the first day of the fair, E-world will invite diplomats, consuls general, consuls, economic attachés as well as employees of chambers of foreign trade and energy initiatives to the "Day of the Consulates" (Hall plan, E-world 2015). Not only the visit to the "Specialist Congress on Future Energies" but also discussions with representatives of the City of Essen and guided tours of the fair will be on the agenda.
Promotion for Young
Companies and Beginners in Occupations
E-world as a springboard: With promotion programmes of their own, young companies and university graduates will be supported in gaining a foothold in the market. 20 firms will present themselves on the joint booth called "Young Innovative Companies" in Hall 7 for which the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy will bear a large proportion of the costs of booth construction and rental.
Recruiting Event on the Third Day of the Fair
In the Career Forum on February 12, university graduates and students will be able to establish contacts to potential employers and to obtain information about occupational possibilities in the energy sector.
