Start-ups Make the Cut
The start-ups, which are sponsored by EIT Health, Medical Valley EMN e.V. and NürnbergMesse and selected by a jury consisting of various partners, can exhibit free of charge at MedtecLIVE with T4M, the meeting place of the medtech industry in southern Germany, at NürnbergMesse from 23-25 May 2023. Companies could apply until the beginning of March 2023 and have now been selected.

A total of 30 young companies can look forward to a start-up npackage at MedtecLIVE with T4M: The start-ups, which are sponsored by nEIT Health, Medical Valley EMN e.V. and NürnbergMesse and selected by a njury consisting of various partners, can exhibit free of charge at nMedtecLIVE with T4M, the meeting place of the medtech industry in nsouthern Germany, at NürnbergMesse from 23-25 May 2023. Companies could napply until the beginning of March 2023 and have now been selected.
"We have all been impressed by the pitch decks submitted and the nconcepts of the numerous applicants. Now we are looking forward to noffering these ideas a stage at MedtecLIVE together with the sponsors ofn the Start-up Area," says Christopher Boss, Head of MedtecLIVE with T4M.
15,000 euros prize money from EIT Health
The top 10 applicants have also qualified for the start-up pitch ncompetition. EIT Health is providing a total of 15,000 euros in prize nmoney for this. The companies will also get the unique chance to presentn their start-up directly at the stand during a guided tour. All nstart-ups can also present their innovations in short elevator pitches non the Start-up Stage.
"Since its inception in 2019, MedtecLIVE successfully partnered with EITn Health to attract experts and start-ups from all over Europe," says nKurt Höller from EIT Health. "An impressive number of European start-upsn benefitted over the years, not only from a sponsored booth and neventually several thousand Euros prize money from the start-up ncompetition; their main benefit was access to a great network, very nrelevant individual contacts, and high visibility. As a member of the nMedtecLIVE advisory board, I'm truly proud and excited about the high nlevel of satisfaction of the participating entrepreneurs and start-ups nover the past years. I'm sure this will also come true for the selected n30 companies in 2023."

There are also still a few places available on the joint stand of young ninnovative companies from Germany. The deadline for applications to nparticipate in this joint stand, which is supported by the Federal nMinistry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK), is April 14th. nStart-ups can also still secure exhibitor places beyond the funded nstart-up area.

At MedtecLIVE with T4M product developers and buyers from distributors nand OEMs will meet the most important suppliers of medical technology inn Europe. The event is held annually, alternating between the two medicaln technology locations of Nuremberg and Stuttgart, and covers the entire nvalue chain with its range of offerings.
