Obtain Information at E-world 2017
How can the energy transition be organised on the international level? Answers to this will be given by the Day of the Consulates at E-world energy & water at Messe Essen on February 7, 2017. For this purpose, Europe's leading fair in the energy industry has once again invited ambassadors, consuls general, consuls, economic attachés as well as employees of international representative offices, economic development companies and chambers of foreign trade.
The interest is great: Registrations have been received from Australia and the Basque country via Guatemala, Georgia, Japan and Cameroon right up to Rwanda, Slovenia and Hungary.
The objectives of the event will be the international exchange of experience and networking. In the morning, the participants will firstly attend the 21st Specialist Conference for Future Energies which will be staged by the North Rhine-Westphalia Energy Agency and will take place at Messe Essen parallel to E-world. There, they will obtain the newest information about the challenges and the chances of climate protection, energy transition and renewable energies.
The participants will subsequently experience pioneering solutions for the energy sector live when visiting the Innovation area of the fair. There, 50 young exhibitors will present their trendsetting products and services such as monitoring systems for photovoltaic installations, security precautions against cyber attacks or meter reading using a smartphone camera.
Thereafter, two guided tours of the fair on the subjects of "Smart Energy - Decentralised Energy Supply" and "Renewable Energies" will create direct contacts between exhibitors at E-world and participants in the Consulates Day. Selected companies will present themselves with their portfolios and reference projects.
This opportunity for the international transfer of knowledge and exchange of ideas is being arranged by the organisers of E-world as well as the Essen Economic Development Company.
