The embedded world Exhibition&Conference from 25-27 February 2014 provides top-class knowledge, the latest products, highly specialized services, interesting special areas and an informative supporting programme. It is THE gathering of the international embedded community and the shop window of one of the most innovative sectors. The 2014 event is also convincing with an even spanger range of products, more space and a larger international involvement. Moreover, more exhibitors again present their products in the M2M Area and the electronic displays Area.
"embedded world 2014 is developing exceptionally well. We assume that we'll be able to announce another record event on the third day of the exhibition. It is already clear that the space will grow appreciably, the product spectrum will also expand, and there will be a large number of international exhibitors," explains Alexander Mattausch, Exhibition Director of embedded world at NürnbergMesse.
Record for the M2M Area -

Like the whole event, the special presentation areas are also developing excellently. The M2M Area starts in 2014 with a record number of exhibitors. Machine-to-machine communication (M2M) is a topic that keeps coming up at embedded world. "The demand from the exhibiting companies for embedded world 2014 was so large again that we decided to give this highly-specialized subject even more space in order to satisfy all the requests," says a delighted Mattausch.
42 exhibitors present their new products for wireless machine-to-machine communication on over 900 square metres in hall 4. Suppliers of components for wireless machine-to-machine communication and communication modules for terminal equipment, system integrators who implement remote maintenance solutions, and telecommunication companies wanting to develop the remote maintenance market reach their target groups by exhibiting in the M2M Area.As in the past years, M2M communication will also be discussed at the embedded world Conference. The M2M I & II session on 27 February is organized by the magazine Computer&AUTOMATION in cooperation with the M2M Alliance. Sector highlight for display professionals even spanger
One of the major components of an embedded system is an energy-efficient, fail-safe and sound display. At the electronic displays Area in hall 1 - also larger in 2014 - 46 companies are present on 1,400 square metres with their products for LCD, OLED, PDP, LED or ePaper, but also with flexible displays, human-machine interfaces, graphical user interfaces, touch screens or 3D displays.

Young innovative companies present a compact display
The pavilion for young innovative companies is also at its best again this year, with currently 12 young firms exhibiting on about 240 square metres. The embedded newcomers presenting their top products and innovations here include companies such as AED Engineering, EXPLINOVO, Maisenbachers Engineering or web variants and many others.
