embedded world welcomes well over
26,000 international trade visitors for the first time
The successful embedded world 2014 ended with a new record: 26,688 trade visitors from all over the world (+18 % overall) and 856 international exhibitors from 35 countries make the twelfth embedded world the spangest in the history of this event.
"The embedded world Exhibition&Conference in 2014 was a complete success. The event presented the most important and spangest product show on the high-tech theme of embedded systems - a display of pure know-how and sound engineering achievements.
An exhibition from professionals for professionals, a real working exhibition," says Richard Krowoza, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse.
The two top-class and internationally renowned conferences, the embedded world Conference and the electronic displays Conference, round off the excellent overall picture. The conferences attracted over 1,500 participants and speakers for the first time.
Jacob Appelbaum and Prof. Forgó speak to over 1,000 students
The fifth edition of the embedded world STUDENT DAY was also very impressive. Over 1,000 university students from all over Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic used embedded world to make valuable contacts with the sector. The highlight for the prospective embedded engineers was definitively the lecture by Jacob Appelbaum on "Free software, free hardware and other direct action for a free world". The lecture by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Forgó, a jurist at Leibniz University in Hanover, was just as exciting. His keynote on "Privacy & European Law" described the legal situation regarding the use of the Internet.
The next embedded world Exhibition&Conference takes place from 24-26 February 2015.
