Control Celebrates All-Round
Growth on its 30th Anniversary!
P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG created a business platform of a new type with the Control international trade fair for quality assurance. "Quality yields more than it costs" - on the basis of this philosophy, a new awareness evolved amongst manufacturing companies and their suppliers, taking them away from conventional quality assurance as nothing more than a cost factor and guiding them towards a cross-divisional function consistently aligned to value creation at companies of all sizes from all industry sectors. Or expressed the other way round: with its strict alignment as a trade fair for all aspects of quality assurance, Control presents user know-how and process expertise on the basis of components, assemblies and subsystems, right on up to complete QA solutions.
As a logical consequence, Control has "reinvented" itself again and again during the course of the years and has made a significant contribution to the importance which is placed upon quality assurance today. Decisive factors in this respect have included the early recognition and promotion of beneficial technological trends and the integration of user-oriented, practical solutions, without ever challenging the time-tested nomenclature which has been changed cautiously where necessary. This strategy is still pursued today by many technological and commercial market leaders from all of the industrialised nations, for which reason Control has been living up to its reputation as a leading international trade fair for many years and enjoys very high levels of global acceptance. This is also made apparent by further growth with regard to exhibition floor space as well as the participation of manufacturers and distributors from both inside and outside of Germany.
At the moment - nine months before Control 2016 opens - project manager Gitta Schlaak has announced that bookings have already reached a level of 90% of the numbers reached at Control 2015 with exhibitors from 25 countries.
And many of the exhibitors would like to have more floor space in order to be able to present their in-process QA products and services as integratable in the spirit of the Industry 4.0 strategy in a practice-oriented setting. The successively growing exhibition segment for image processing and vision systems is also experiencing a further upswing and attracting more and more attention, because industry players see Control as the most important system solutions platform where their target groups can be directly approached.
Furthermore, after a successful launch in 2015, Control 2016 will feature closer cooperation with the EMVA industry association (European Machine Vision Association) for the first time, who are planning a collective booth amongst other activities.
