Announces Record-Breaking Participation
and Floor Space Growth
More exhibitors than ever before, 10% growth in exhibition floor space, a new hall layout, improved infrastructure and a technically well-rounded supplementary pro
gramme - the Control international trade fair for quality assurance in 2017 is and will remain the world's most important information and business platform for all concerns in the field of industrial quality assurance! Significantly more than 900 exhibitors from 30 countries will fully occupy halls 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 with 565,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space and will present current offerings from the worldwide market with their comprehensive products and services.

The new hall layout for Control, characterised by construction of new hall 10 as well as renovation and expansion of the West entrance foyer, has resulted in the unique opportunity for private trade fair promoters P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG of setting up Control in a block format and thus as a compact trade fair with minimised legwork. Occupying halls 3, 5 and 7 in the odd-numbered row and halls 4 and 6 in the even-numbered row smooths out the beginning of the trade fair day for expert visitors arriving in the morning - and for the exhibitors - because the flow of visitors via the East and West entrances will now be more uniformly distributed to all of the halls. Along with renovation and expansion work, vehicular access and parking lot infrastructures at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre have been optimised as well. In combination with transportation connections to the exhibition centre (direct access from the motorway and national highways, as well as via rapid transit and the airport), this results in a comfortable and low-stress travel and admission situation.
Increased Efficiency of Trade Fair Visits with New Online Tools
Further marketing measures which provide support and flow management for expert visitors from all over the world such as the mobile website "m.control-messe.de" (direct access to the mobile website for smartphones and tablets) and the "My Trade Fair Visit" online tool (for optimised planning of trade fair visits), as well as the (free) Happy Friday food coupon offered on Friday (the last day of the event) and not least of all the option for preregistration of expert visitors via the Internet create a convenient basis for a successful trade fair visit with informative value. This is assured on the one hand by worldwide offerings covering components, modules, subsystems and complete solutions for quality assurance, and on the other hand by a broad-based supplementary presentation programme and the highly popular talks offered at the Control exhibitor forum.
Quality Assurance as a Central Element
Against the backdrop of booming individual QA sectors such as industrial image processing and vision systems, robot-aided subsystems and complete systems as well as optoelectronic sensor technology, the 31st Control will once again present a world-class exhibition portfolio. Thanks to the consistently and comparatively high degree of digitalisation of the respective components, modules and systems for industrial quality assurance, these building blocks are distinguished by maximised I 4.0 compatibility and thus represent an essential element for implementing I 4.0 structures in the real world.
