3rd Nano and Material Symposium Niedersachsen
''Innovations for applications in the area of geothermal energy as well as renewable energy and process technology'' are the focal point of this year´s event. The highlight of this symposium is a tour of the technology center of Baker Hughes.
Economics, science and politics on national and international levels are pursuing an increasingly more responsible application of energy. Energy technology is necessary in order to attain energy efficiency.
Against this background, the Nano- und Materialinnovationen Niedersachsen is organizing the 3rd Nano and Material Symposium on 6 and 7 October 2010 in Celle in cooperation with GeoEnergy Celle e. V. Together with the companies ITAG Tiefbohr GmbH, Celler Brunnenbau GmbH and Hartmann Valves GmbH, among others, GeoEnergy Celle e. V. provides an ideal platform for strengthening and further developing Celle as an internationally established location in the area of geothermal energy.
The two-day NMN Symposium starts with a get-together of experts from economics and science. The highlight will be a tour of the technology center of Baker Hughes. An insight into current technologies will be provided and challenges in the target field of geothermal energy will be discussed.
Baker Hughes today belongs to one of the three leading oil service companies. The technical competitive advantage in the core area of materials and surface technology is therefore guaranteed.
Renowned companies and research establishments will be presenting current product and process innovations from the fields of ''geothermal energy'', ''renewable energy'' and ''process technology'' on the second day. Three parallel sessions with a focus on nano materials, lightweight construction and surface technology thereby provide a targeted-oriented emphasis of specific subject matter. The accompanying exhibition gives tangible insights into the latest research results.
Students and graduates can obtain information on general job openings and possibilities at the Career Corner. Representatives from the industry and research give tips on a successful entry into the materials industry.
In addition, the Career Corner provides an ideal platform for contacting potential future employees and for posting current employment opportunities.
