WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL 2015
Features Blue Planet Forum on 25 and 26 March
Following jointly organised events in 2011 and 2013 the Blue Planet Forum will be taking place for the third time at WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL on 25 and 26 March 2015. Worldwide, the topic of water supplies is becoming an increasingly important economic and foreign policy issue, while at the same time demand is growing for the necessary technology and services to solve crises and conflicts that are the result of poor or inadequate water management. The time has come to undertake concrete steps, even more rapidly and with long-term aims. With that in mind it is important to gather the international water industry players in order to create jobs and secure economic growth.
Blue Planet is an established international water industry event brand that is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Reactor Safety, the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Research and Technology, and Messe Berlin. Success and recognition have been achieved by organising leading specialist forums, in particular the 'Berlin Water Dialogues' at WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL which in recent years have become well known events.
At WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL 2015 'Blue Planet' will function as an overall heading with a new, innovative goal in line with the needs of the changing global water markets: that of setting up and establishing a series of events with broad international aims, in particular and also as regards the German water industry. The series will begin with the Blue Planet Forum 2015 on 25 and 26 March, a platform for decision-makers representing international water users in industry, the energy and farming industries, in large cities, as well as economic and foreign policy decision-makers. The event will also enable the German water industry to showcase its technological expertise. The political orientation of the Blue Planet Forum, which is underlined by the partnership with the Federal Ministry of the Environment and the Senate Department for Economics, sets this event apart from the congress programme and other WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL events. Its key topic, 'Green cities - blue solutions', reaffirms this and decisively sets the pace politically, economically, along with offering technical solutions.
For trade visitors in possession of a valid ticket to WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL admission to the Blue Planet Forum is free. For organisational reasons registration is necessary to take part.
The Blue Planet Forum is organised and held by Water Partnership e.V.
