"Career Day" brings new dental talent and companies together
In 2015, IDS "Career Day" is the meeting point between exhibitors and new talent / Companies use the International Dental Show to address pupils, trainees, students and persons that are interested in a career in the dental profession in a targeted manner.
More than 2000 companies from about 60 countries are expected to attend the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne from 10 to 14 March 2015. Every two years, the IDS is the world's most important industry get-together for the international dental market. In order to correspondingly promote new blood in this profession, the Association of German Dental Manufacturers (Verband der Deutschen Dental-Industrie e.V., VDDI) and the Koelnmesse are arranging a "Career Day" at the IDS for the first time. This initiative is aimed at accelerating communication and information exchange between the companies exhibiting at the IDS and newcomers to the profession or persons that are interested in a career in the dental sector. The "Career Day" will take place on Saturday 14 March 2015, in the Speaker's Corner area of Hall 3.1.
The "Career Day" at the IDS offers university graduates, trainees from the fields of dentistry and dental technology as well as pupils and school leavers that want to find out about training and career opportunities in the dental sector a first impression of the various spheres of activity of the participating companies. In addition, the "Career Day" offers fully-trained persons or career changers information about further training options and career opportunities in the dental sector.
Participants from far afield can take advantage of overnight accommodation in the Cologne-Deutz youth hostel close to the trade fair site on the weekend of 13/14 March 2015. Subject to availability, the required room allotments can be requested and booked by quoting the reservation number 178137.
"Career Day" presents IDS exhibitors with the perfect opportunity to make presentations about professional training, further development and career advancement. On 14 March 2015, brief presentations to introduce your company can be booked on the "Career Day" stage in Hall 3.1. In addition, the "Recruitment Lounge" connected to the presentation area also offers facilities for individual meetings and presentations in discreetly partitioned areas.
"Career Day" has its own presence within the IDS homepage. You can easily arrange meetings with candidates and interested parties using the online scheduling facility, but spontaneous "speed-dating campaigns" are also possible. All exhibitors that are involved in the initiative will be named on the IDS homepage and will also be mentioned in a special printed flyer.
