MOTEK/BondExpo 2019:
Digitalisation has Arrived
The 38th Motek international trade fair for automation in production and assembly, together with the 13th Bondexpo international trade fair for bonding technologies, is at the starting line. In the year 2019 and beyond, Motek will focus on smart solutions for production and assembly.
As in the past, ultramodern and in the meantime digitalised components, modules, subsystems and complete machines for automated production and assembly are at the heart of the product and service portfolio of the internationally recognised information, communication and business platform. In order to do justice to ever stricter requirements placed on consistently automated production with flexible lot quantities both now and in the future, Motek will present complete solutions with networked technology and communication which are geared to actual industrial practice. As a supplement to all of this, the concurrently held Bondexpo will exhibit standalone and system solutions for joining and fastening components and modules in preassembly and final assembly.
Implementing Digitalisation and Networking
Motek's motto, "Smart Solutions for Production and Assembly", underscores the fact that digitalisation and integration are long since a viable reality. This is rendered especially visible and tangible at the Arena of Integration theme park (AoI). Connectivity isn't just a buzzword, but rather actual practice at the AoI - with the help of its showcases, the integrative theme park in the middle of hall 6 will provide expert visitors with concrete answers to current questions regarding intelligent production and process sequences in combination with digital applications. Trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG are organising this special show together with the Mechatronics Network of Baden-Württemberg as collaboration partner, and participating exhibitors. In combination with the spectrum of offerings exhibited at Motek and Bondexpo, as well as the integrative theme park, the trade fair event from the 7th through the 10th of October provides an internationally unique, comprehensive presentation covering all aspects of the value creation chains for information and process-oriented automation and industrial production and assembly.
Focus on Industrial Feasibility
Motek reflects the entire world of rapidly changing process automation and provides customers and users with industrially usable, future-proof solutions already today. Nowhere else can trade fair visitors gather comparably extensive information about how modern manufacturing should be set up. "It's not show-time for dancing robots at Motek - this is where hardware and software for automation technology really rocks," says Bettina Schall, managing director of P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. And thus the pragmatically conceptualised trade fair duo comprising Motek and Bondexpo has long since been a well-received, "must-attend" event for all design engineers, users and production managers who are looking for practical solutions in the field of industrial manufacturing and assembly.
