Tour for Trade Visitors
Another major theme at the trade fair will be occupational safety and the "Protect, don't fall" campaign. "Visitors can find out information on important new legal regulations, while associations will demonstrate solutions to these", says Schuster.
In cooperation with the trade association and the umbrella organisations, a special exhibition including a tour will also be on display in Hall 9, where trade visitors will be able to try out new systems for themselves.
The special exhibition will be substantially expanded and redesigned for the plumbing trade, which will give it more "workshop character", according to Schuster. This will be joined by a readjustment in Halls 8 and 9. "In the future, the range of topics on Metal and Plumbing will now be found in Hall 8, together with Flat Roofs and Drainage Systems", explains the fair's Project Manager. "By doing so, we will bring together those areas that belong together." Furthermore, visitors can look forward to some familiar highlights at DACH+HOLZ International: for example, the Architects' Congress for Planners, Architects and Craftsmen on Thursday the 22nd of February, featuring numerous renowned experts from Germany and overseas. The public training of the National Carpenters' Team, who will be training for their World and European Championships at the trade fair, will be another major attraction.
Both presidents are also looking forward to the coming event. "DACH+HOLZ International is the largest industrial trade fair for the entire roofing trade", says Dirk Bollwerk (see picture: left), President of the Central Association of the German Roofing Trade (ZVDH).
"A number of new products surrounding building cover, innovations as well as information on issues such as occupational safety and increasing digitalisation in the roofing trade are strong reasons to visit the established leading trade fair for the entire roofing and carpentry industry."
"Construction is changing. Carpentry is changing", says Peter Aicher (see picture: right), Chairman of Holzbau Deutschland - the Association of German Master Carpenters in the Central Association of the German Construction Industry. "Urban redensification is becoming a subject of increasing importance: roof extensions and the addition of new storeys. Fire safety regulations are currently aligned with these requirements and the state of technology. DACH+HOLZ International presents state-of-the-art technology. Another important theme will be safety, to ensure that even fewer accidents will occur in future."
