Countdown to FeuerTRUTZ 2017:
More Exhibitors and an Extended Supporting Programme
Attract the Industry to Nuremberg
FeuerTRUTZ continues to grow and on 22 and 23 February will bring together experts on preventive fire protection to Europe's spangest industry event at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg. It's the place to be to get information about fire protection solutions from more than 270 exhibitors from Germany and abroad (244 in 2016). The supporting programme, featuring two Exhibitor Forums, three Compact Seminars, the Training & Career Meeting Point and live demonstrations, complements the products on display at the exhibition. At the renowned Fire Protection Congress, participants share their expertise on the interaction of passive, active and organisational fire protection measures and current challenges facing the industry.
"This seventh edition of FeuerTRUTZ will welcome the highest ever number of exhibitors and will be the spangest event since its premiere in 2011. We are expecting a lot of companies with larger stands than in the previous years and a growth rate for international exhibitors of around 50 per cent,'' relates Stefan Dittrich, who is responsible for the exhibition in his capacity as FeuerTRUTZ Executive Director at NürnbergMesse, the organiser of the trade fair.
The Fire Protection EXPERIENCE:
live and at close quarters
Apart from the innovations at the exhibitor stands, the extended supporting programme is also drawing the crowds to the Nuremberg venue. One new feature is that the fire protection demonstration area has been extended to include demonstrations in the exhibition hall. Aumüller Aumatic, for example, will provide information on wind-direction dependent smoke extraction from buildings, b.i.o. Brandschutz and svt Brandschutz/AIK Flammadur will demonstrate how fire protection coatings work, Xtralis will showcase smoke exhaust systems for industrial environments in action and Siemens will demonstrate the detection and alarm accuracy of its fire safety system. Lifestream Solutions will show how virtual reality can be used to simulate fires. Stöbich will also use a special exhibit to provide a realistic display of how a smoke barrier works. In the outdoor demonstration area, Stöbich will show the capacity of fire safety curtains using a fire testing container. In the fire protection demonstration area, Vimtec will show a transportable monitoring unit for early fire detection featuring an Orglmeister infrared system.
Compact seminars provided additional expertise
Participants can obtain practical and target-group focused expertise in the three Compact Seminars "Fire protection in finishing work", "Fire protection in Bavaria" and the new two-day compact seminar "Fire Protection DIRECT - Extinguishing Technology", in which FeuerTRUTZ Network joins with the bvfa (Federal Association for Technical Fire Protection) to provide support to designers, operators and insurers for their day-to-day practice.
Exhibitor Forums

In both exhibition halls the Exhibitor Forums provide a cross-section of the latest hot topics and feature half-hour long presentations in which exhibitors provide information about their products and trends. Further focus topics are provided by the lecture series "Industrial building and occupational safety" hosted by the Berlin Fire Safety Academy, and the AGE road show organised by the smoke extraction action group.
Training & Career Meeting Point
provides information about career prospects
Training and professional development opportunities are the focus of discussions at the Training & Career Meeting Point, where 13 institutes with special training options for seasoned fire safety professionals and new recruits to the industry provide information at a shared pavilion on career opportunities in the fire protection sector.
FeuerTRUTZ Casino Night with
awards presentation promises plenty of excitement
The evening event on the first day of FeuerTRUTZ is guaranteed to provide great entertainment, as the FeuerTRUTZ Casino Night brings roulette, poker and blackjack fans to the gaming table. Supported by NürnbergMesse and FeuerTRUTZ Network, the players' stakes will contribute hard cash to the charity Paulinchen e.V., an initiative for children with burn injuries.The awards ceremony "Fire Protection of the Year" will also provide plenty of excitement during the evening.
Fire Protection Congress
puts synergies centre-stage
Major projects, building regulation and Administrative Regulation Technical Building Code, initial experience with the German Model Directive on structural fire protection in industrial buildings or fire control matrices and operating principle verification: at the Fire Protection Congress, experts discuss the latest challenges for fire protection designers, accredited experts, official agency staff, building engineers, installers and operators. The congress theme "Fire Protection 4.0": Navigating Trends and Technology in Fire Safety" weaves its way through the three streams of the congress programme. Whether it is covering passive, active or organisational fire protection, the congress focuses on the synergies and interaction between these three areas.
