PV America Heads to
Boston for the 2014 Conference and Expo
PV America 2014 will be held June 23-25, in Boston, Massachusetts, and will feature three days of exhibits and educational sessions that highlight specific issues related to the Northeast sector of the United States and the PV industry as a whole.
PV America (PVA), which is powered by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), brings together more than 3,000 power players in the solar industry and will showcase an exhibit floor representing more than 100 companies who will be displaying new technology to facilitate PV solar solutions.
"Going to Boston provides a unique opportunity to address and connect with a dynamic PV market in the Northeast, while also presenting a compelling draw for solar professionals nationwide," said Stephen Miner, CEO of Solar Energy Trade Shows, which organizes PVA and Solar Power International (SPI) for SEIA and SEPA. "PVA '14 continues the tradition of quality SEIA and SEPA events, with a packed program of sessions, networking events, product displays and demonstrations, and the simple and singular value of connecting face-to-face with industry friends and colleagues."
New to the program this year are uniquely formatted educational sessions called QuickTalks. These 20-minute discussions focus on timely industry trends and issues. Full conference attendees will also have the opportunity to further their knowledge and share best practices during the more than 30 education sessions offered onsite.
Another new learning opportunity added to the show this year is the Educational Posters area on the Expo floor. Posters offer innovative ways for attendees to capture important research results, analyses of problem-solving solutions, and recommended best practices.
